Matt Nichols is a solo performer and music teacher from Virginia Beach, VA. With his unique approach to playing his bass guitar more like a piano than a bass while looping chill beats and rich sonic textures he has become an in-demand act, captivating audiences as “One Man Bass Band” at venues, breweries and events all over VA.

His performances range from hip hop, rock and video game covers to relaxing grooves and memorable melodies from his original songs. Matt’s music provides listeners with an atmosphere that they can tune into or simply enjoy in the background.
